Chief Secretary’s Bharatpur Visit – Reviews Development Works, Inspects RBM Hospital Cleanliness and Facilities
Jaipur, Aug 2025 – Chief Secretary Sudhansh Pant visited Bharatpur district on Sunday, where he inspected ongoing development works at Keoladeo National Park, Lohagarh Fort, and CFCD. He also made a surprise visit to RBM Hospital to check cleanliness arrangements and the facilities being provided in various wards.
Keoladeo National Park Visit –
In the morning, the Chief Secretary toured Keoladeo National Park, reviewed development projects, and took stock of efforts to improve biodiversity after the lakes filled with water from the Ghambhir River. He visited the Keoladeo Temple, prayed for the prosperity of the nation, and observed the biodiversity from the viewpoint. He instructed officials to develop more tourist facilities and create plans to attract visitors. District Collector Qamar Chaudhary, BDA Commissioner Kanishk Kataria, and Ghana Director Man Singh briefed him on expansion plans for the park.
Inspection of RBM Hospital –
Mr. Pant inspected RBM Hospital, gathered details about the newly constructed block, and suggested an early inauguration. He visited multiple wards, interacted with patients, and instructed doctors to provide the best possible care. He expressed dissatisfaction over cleanliness in some areas, directing hospital authorities to ensure a hygienic environment for patients and attendants. He also reviewed the free medicine scheme counter, inspected stock categories, and instructed that no patient should have to purchase medicines from outside.
Boosting CFCD Works –
The Chief Secretary inspected the ongoing CFCD project near Jaghina Gate, directing that water drainage be maintained during the monsoon and that work be accelerated post-monsoon to provide a permanent solution to waterlogging in the city.
Lohagarh Fort Development Review –
He reviewed ongoing works at Lohagarh Fort, instructing that restoration and beautification of the Bihari Ji Parikrama Path, parks, and historical monuments be completed on time and with quality standards. At Bihari Ji Temple, he emphasized that all beautification work must respect religious traditions.
Other Heritage Inspections –
The Chief Secretary also visited the historic Ganga Temple, reviewing road widening, beautification, and development projects. He stressed timely and quality completion of all works, especially those of tourism importance, so that Bharatpur remains a leading city in the state.
He also planted an Ashoka sapling under the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam campaign at Circuit House. District Collector Qamar Chaudhary provided a detailed update on city development, budget announcements, tourism projects, religious site beautification, and public amenities. Senior police, municipal, and departmental officials were present during the visit.
