‘ED Party’ is remarkable bunch of jokers; one day it talks about transporting papers through military, next it claims banning Telegram will stop paper leaks: Sanjay Singh
NEW DELHI, June 2026 : The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) slammed the Centre over its decision to ban Telegram in an attempt to curb NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) paper leaks, after earlier announcing that examination papers would be transported using Indian Air Force aircraft, and that would miraculously stop paper leaks. Calling the government to have become a “comedy circus”, AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal put forth that such steps would never stop paper leaks and called out the Centre for lacking the intent to dismantle the racket.
The AAP Chief further questioned whether the billions generated through paper leaks were being spent on BJP’s shopping spree of MPs and MLAs across states. He asserted that meaningful reform would require people to come out on the streets and demand a change in the entire system.
In a video message on ‘X’, AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal stated, “The government has banned Telegram to stop paper leaks. Doesn’t this make people laugh? Earlier, they said they would transport examination papers in Air Force aircraft. Now they say they have banned Telegram. Will this stop paper leaks? Absolutely not. They do not want to stop paper leaks. Their intention is not right.”
He continued, “I had already said that the paper leak racket is a business worth billions and trillions of rupees, and this money reaches right to the top. All these MPs and MLAs who are being bought, what money is being used to buy them? They are being bought with the money generated from leaking the papers of our youth.”
Arvind Kejriwal added, “They have already bought a large number of TMC MPs and MLAs. Now reports suggest they are buying heavily in Maharashtra as well. They are paying ₹50 crore each to MPs. These are not happening without money.”
The AAP Supremo asserted, “If this paper leak racket is shut down, where will the money come from to buy MPs and MLAs? Until people collectively come out onto the streets, paper leaks will not stop at all. The entire system will have to be changed.”
Meanwhile, senior AAP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh said on ‘X’, “Wow, the ED Party really is a remarkable bunch of jokers. You have crossed all limits. Sometimes you talk about transporting papers through the IAF, and sometimes you claim that banning Telegram will end paper leaks. How much more drama are you going to stage?”
