Government is committed to Provid better health sevices to citizens: CM Dr. Yadav

Proposals worth Rs 199 crore to provide facilities in Hamidiya hospital Bone marrow center to be started Chief Minister inspects Hamidia Hospital.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the state government is committed to provid better health services to the citizens. Hospitals are being inspected for this. The funds should be properly utilized. All officers should efficiently work. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav informed this after inspecting Hamidia Hospital on Monday evening. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inspected the infant ward and other rooms. He interacted with the patients and their family members. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was informed about the expansion works and new proposals by senior doctors.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that in the rainy season the number of patients can increase. Expansion work is being done to ensure that patients do not face any difficulty, Hamidia Hospital is the biggest in the state with a capacity of 2250 beds. At present the facility of 1850 beds is being provided. He said that new proposals worth about Rs 199 crore have come to provide facilities to the patients in the hospital. These include proposals to purchase new machines for the Regional Institute for Respiratory Disease worth Rs 35 crore, the Center of Excellence for Orthopedics worth Rs 42 crore, and for Cancer treatment worth Rs 30 crore.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that a bone marrow center will be started soon. Apart from this, a new hostel block worth Rs 20 crore will be built for PG students. An MRI/CT machine worth Rs 20 crore will soon be provided. A new integrated OPD block worth Rs 35 crore and a new UG hostel worth Rs 17 crore will be built.
