Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign Organises Bike Rally in Champhai
Champhai, Aug 2025: As part of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign to promote respect for and awareness of the Indian national flag, the DC Office, Champhai, organised a bike rally today, flagged off by Champhai Deputy Commissioner Pu Mohammad Aaquib.
Addressing the participants before the rally, SDO (Sadar) Pu Ngulzathuama stated that the Indian national flag is a symbol of the nation’s independence and pride, and expressed hope that the rally would inspire a renewed sense of patriotism among the people.
The rally saw participation from members of Buffalo Riders, 04 Riders, and 04 Girls, along with several other individuals from different professions. Bikes and scooters were adorned with the national flag, and the rally proceeded from New Champhai to Kahrawt Volleyball Court, led by Additional DC Pu K. Zorammuana. Upon arrival, the Additional DC presented tokens of appreciation to the riders, while SDC Pu Lalchhuanawma Ralte delivered a brief speech to conclude the event.
