Pilgrimage Sites Unite Nation with Faith : CM Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has stated that in Sanatan culture, pilgrimage has special importance. Pilgrimage paves the way for attaining salvation. Our pilgrimage sites are also a medium to keep the country united along with religious faith. The pilgrims departing from the city of Baba Mahakal, Ujjain, to earn virtue in the city of Baba Vishwanath, Varanasi, deserve congratulations. They will also have the fortune of bathing in the Ganga and having darshan of Lord Vishwanath, along with visiting the birthplaces of Saint Ravidas and Kabir Das. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the grandeur Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has given to the abode of Lord Shri Ram in Ayodhya is a matter of pride for all of us. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav virtually flagged off the train taking pilgrims from Ujjain to Ayodhya under the ‘Mukhyamantri Teerth Darshan Yojana on Wednesday from the Chief Minister’s official residence. He also addressed the pilgrims from Ujjain and Agar-Malwa present at Ujjain Railway Station.

Teerth Darshan Yojana Will Be Expanded With Cooperation Of  Tourism Department

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that it is a matter of good fortune that senior citizens of the state are getting sacred opportunity of pilgrimage through the Chief Minister Teerth Darshan Yojana. Since its beginning in 2018, the annual budget of the Teerth Darshan Yojana has been more than Rs 50 crore. In the Teerth Darshan Yojana, arrangements have also been made for pilgrimage through air travel. With the cooperation of the tourism department, the Teerth Darshan Yojana will be further expanded. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi, moving ahead on the path from heritage to development, the state government will remain dedicated to the welfare of all sections of society, including senior citizens.

CM Dr. Yadav Fulfills His Duty Like Shravan Kumar

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav interacted virtually with Smt. Kalpana Sharma, Shri Rajju Kishore and Shri Babulal Sharma, who were going on pilgrimage from Ujjain. Smt. Kalpana Sharma said, “CM Dr. Yadav has fulfilled his duty like Shravan Kumar by enabling the senior citizens’ pilgrimage”. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav extended wishes for a successful and pleasant journey to all the pilgrims going on the pilgrimage.
