Provide Citizens with Timely and Seamless Digital Services – Minister of Women and Child Development Aditi Tatkare

Raigad, Aug 2025 To expedite the Aadhaar card registration and authentication process, the government has made Aadhaar kits available. All kit holders should ensure that these services are provided to citizens on time and without any disruption, instructed Minister of Women and Child Development, Ms. Aditi Tatkare.

At a program held at the Planning Bhavan, Ms. Aditi Tatkare distributed newly received Aadhaar kits for Raigad district. On the dais were District Collector Kishan Jawale, Superintendent of Police Achal Dalal, Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer Neha Bhosale, Deputy Conservator of Forests Rahul Patil, and Deputy Collector Dr. Ravindra Shelke. A total of 71 kits were distributed in the district on this occasion.

While guiding the gathering, Ms. Tatkare said that the Aadhaar card is a very important document in everyone’s life. The administration is committed to ensuring that citizens of Raigad district receive this service on time and without hassle. With the kits provided by the Department of Information and Technology, Aadhaar registration and updating services will now be easily accessible from urban areas to the most remote villages. She urged all Aadhaar center operators to strictly follow regulations while providing these services.

District Collector Kishan Jawale gave details about the measures being taken by the district administration to make Aadhaar authentication services available.

The program began with introductory remarks by Deputy Collector Dr. Ravindra Shelke.


Release of Coffee Table Book “Itihas Badalnare Paani” (The Water that Changed History)

A coffee table book based on the Mahad Chavdar Tale Satyagraha, created by the Raigad District Information Office, was released by Minister Aditi Tatkare. She directed that the District Information Office should publicize major historical events and sites of Raigad district among the youth through social media and also create a digital version of the book.

Present at the occasion were District Collector Kishan Jawale, Superintendent of Police Achal Dalal, Zilla Parishad CEO Neha Bhosale, Deputy Conservator of Forests Rahul Patil, Deputy Collector Dr. Ravindra Shelke, and District Information Officer Manisha Pingale, among other dignitaries.
