Raipur, Aug 2025 :On the initiative of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, a Digital Crop Survey is being conducted in Raipur district. The survey, which began on August 15, will continue until September 30. Its primary objective is to assess the actual crop status of farmers and ensure that they receive the maximum benefits of state and central government schemes. The digital survey is also considered a major step toward farmer prosperity and transparency, integrating modern technology with agriculture and paving the way for higher farm incomes.
Under the directions of Collector Dr. Gaurav Singh, senior officials inspected the survey work. Additional Collector Namrata Jain visited Mohandi, Additional Collector Rathore in Mehrsakha, Additional Collector Naveen Thakur in Mangsa, SDM Nandkishore Choubey in Nakti, SDM Ravi Singh in Chhata, SDM Ashutosh Devangan in Adseena, and Abhilash Paikra in Chhatona. Similarly, Tehsildars inspected villages within their respective jurisdictions.
The Digital Crop Survey is being carried out at the field level by surveyors, who physically visit farmlands, record crop details in the Agritech App, and upload photographs. This data is then verified by Patwaris and senior officers, ensuring accurate evaluation of crop status and precise information regarding land holdings.
The survey is expected to provide multiple benefits to farmers. Crop insurance and damage assessment will be conducted in a transparent and scientific manner. Eligible farmers will gain faster access to agricultural schemes. Additionally, the survey will generate advanced crop production data, helping design more effective procurement systems and agricultural policies in the future. Farmers will also benefit from timely technical guidance and financial assistance.
