Book Showcasing Governor Bagde’s One-Year Achievements Released at Raj Bhavan

Jaipur, Sept 2025 — A historic moment was recorded in Rajasthan’s annals on Monday when Smt. Somti Devi, a resident of Bhilon Ka Bas in Ramdeora, released the book “Abhyuday Ki Aur” at the request of Governor Haribhau Bagde. The book highlights the Governor’s achievements during his first year in office.

Governor Bagde dedicated his one-year tenure to the upliftment of tribals, marginalized communities, and the rural poor. He expressed his wish that the book be unveiled at a sacred place of public faith by the hands of a woman, for which Somti Devi was chosen.

Explaining the meaning of “Abhyuday Ki Aur”, the Governor said it signifies working towards the welfare, progress, and equal upliftment of all. He thanked Somti Devi for unveiling the book.

Notably, Governor Bagde had earlier marked the completion of his first year in office by spending time among tribal communities in Bilwan Kotda, Udaipur district, where he interacted with villagers and stayed overnight.

The book “Abhyuday Ki Aur” documents the Governor’s efforts across Rajasthan, including prioritizing development issues, conducting extensive district visits, ensuring effective implementation of central and state government schemes, and promoting public welfare initiatives. It also highlights his advocacy for natural farming in response to the dangers of chemical farming, cooperative development across sectors, holistic progress in dairy and tribal regions, and efforts to enrich universities with higher quality standards and NAAC accreditation.
