National Teacher Award 2025: 45 Outstanding Teachers Honored Across the Country
Neelam Yadav of Rajasthan Receives Prestigious Award from President Draupadi Murmu
Jaipur, Sept 2025 : On the occasion of National Teacher’s Day, a grand felicitation ceremony was held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, on Friday, where President Draupadi Murmu honored 45 outstanding teachers selected from across the country with the National Teacher Award. Among the awardees was Mrs. Neelam Yadav, Principal of Government Girls’ Senior Secondary School, Tapukara, Alwar, Rajasthan, who was also recognized with this prestigious award.
These awards, given annually at the national level, aim to acknowledge and honor teachers who have made exceptional contributions in the field of education. They also serve to inspire other educators to enhance the quality of education and to contribute more effectively to the holistic development of students.
Each awardee receives a cash prize of ₹50,000, a medal, and a certificate of recognition.
