Jaipur to Become a Hub for Conference Tourism with High-Tech and Heritage Integration

Jaipur, Sept 2025: In the gracious presence of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was exchanged on Wednesday at the Chief Minister’s Office between RECO and the National Building Construction Corporation (NBCC) for the construction of the Rajasthan Mandapam and allied projects. Under this agreement, on RECO’s land along B-2 Bypass in Jaipur, the development will include the Rajasthan Mandapam, Global Capability Center, IT Tower, as well as 5-star and 4-star hotels, residential, and commercial towers.

Chief Minister Sharma said that the proposed Rajasthan Mandapam will be the best destination for multinational companies and corporate events, including conferences, seminars, and exhibitions. Facilities will be developed to accommodate national and international events of all scales.

He added that following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of “Heritage with Development”, the Rajasthan Mandapam will combine the state’s rich heritage with high-tech modern facilities. The venue will serve as a major attraction, promoting cultural, business, and tourism activities, and positioning Jaipur as a global destination for conference tourism.

Industries and Commerce Minister Colonel Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore said that the Rajasthan Mandapam will be a milestone in making Jaipur a world-class center for various events.

Rajasthan Mandapam Theme: Heritage with Development
On the occasion, the Chief Minister reviewed the project design of Rajasthan Mandapam in detail and emphasized that the construction plan should include provisions for maintenance, drawing inspiration from the state’s rich heritage. The project will feature conference halls, expo halls, commercial centers, and other world-class facilities integrating local art and culture with modern technology.

The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary Shri Sudhansh Pant, Additional Chief Secretary to CM & RECO Chairman Shri Shikhar Agrawal, NBCC CMD Shri K.P. Mahadevaswami, and senior officials from RECO and the concerned departments.
