MLA Er. H. Ginzalala launches Tailoring Training Pilot Course
Champhai, Sept 2025: Today, Adviser to the Chief Minister (Technical) and MLA of Champhai North, Er. H. Ginzalala, inaugurated a six-month Tailoring Training Pilot Course at the Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Incubation Centre, CHANEM, under the Champhai District Industries Centre.
In his address, Er. H. Ginzalala expressed gratitude for the successful organization of the programme and proudly launched the tailoring training course. He noted that in Mizo society, cooperation, diligence, and sincerity are values that help overcome hardships by fostering unity. These qualities, he said, nurture positive thoughts, discipline, and determination.
Speaking about entrepreneurship, the MLA stressed the importance of having an entrepreneurial mindset and vision. He encouraged participants not merely to follow what others are doing but to carefully assess their own and their community’s needs. He highlighted that individuals skilled in crafts, like tailoring, can create opportunities for both personal growth and community benefit. He urged the trainees to take the training seriously, acquire strong skills, and utilize them effectively to showcase their talent and hard work.
The event was chaired by District Commerce & Industries Officer Pu Vanlalpara, with Office Assistant Pu Lalramdina facilitating interactions between trainers and trainees. A discussion session was also held for attendees, where participants shared their views.
The trainer for the programme is Pi Lalrinmawii, while 15 trainees have been selected to participate, with an additional 5 trainees placed on reserve.
