Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami Conducts Ground Inspection of Disaster-Affected Areas on Mussoorie Road and Kimadi
Sept 2025 : Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami, after reviewing the heavy rainfall situation across the state from the State Disaster Operation Centre on Thursday, carried out a ground inspection of the disaster-affected areas on Mussoorie Road and Kimadi.
During the inspection of relief operations, the Chief Minister directed officials to ensure the immediate repair of main roads to restore normal traffic and to provide alternative arrangements for the movement of people wherever required. He instructed that all concerned departments must work on a war footing to normalize life in the affected areas at the earliest. All affected families should be provided with immediate financial assistance and basic services in accordance with disaster relief standards.
Considering the continuous rainfall, the Chief Minister directed that alternative routes and relief camps be established on a priority basis in areas where movement has been disrupted. He affirmed that the state government stands firmly with the disaster-affected people in this difficult time with full sensitivity, and all possible efforts are being made to restore normalcy in the affected regions at the earliest.
On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Shri Ganesh Joshi, Vice-Chairman of the Disaster Management Advisory Committee Shri Vinay Rohilla, Garhwal Commissioner Shri Vinay Shankar Pandey, District Magistrate Dehradun Shri Savin Bansal, SSP Shri Ajay Singh, and officials of the district administration were present.
