Development to Transform Vindhya’s Destiny: CM Dr. Yadav
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that a development is underway at pace in Madhya Pradesh, and this caravan of progress will continue to advance at an even faster pace. He assured that no effort will be spared in the development of Vindhya, and through various projects, development scenario of the region will be transformed.
Addressing the ‘Vindhya Vikas Sankalp Sammelan’ at Chakghat Krishi Upaj Mandi in Tyonthar constituency of Rewa district, CM Dr. Yadav announced the establishment of a new industrial area on 400 acres in Tyonthar, upgradation of the local Civil Hospital from 50 to 100 beds, construction of a new ITI and development of a river corridor along the Tamas River. He also performed the Bhoomi Poojan of a ₹125 crore Compressed Biogas Plant by IOCGPS Renewable Pvt. Ltd. The plant will purchase crop residue from farmers, thereby generating additional income and ensuring cleaner fields.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Poojan for development projects worth over ₹162 crore in Tyonthar, including road and ‘Chillawala’ bridge projects and distributed land allotment letters to three industrialists for setting up new industries. He also announced ₹4 lakh financial assistance to the family of Sushri Jeena Verma, who died in a road accident in Rewa.
CM Dr. Yadav highlighted Vindhya’s contribution to energy production, noting its achievements in thermal, solar and renewable energy. He stated that the region is emerging as ‘Energy Capital’. Highlighting Madhya Pradesh’s rapid industrial growth, CM Dr. Yadav emphasized that the government is committed to creating local employment opportunities, ensuring that youths and women do not have to migrate for want of work. He said that under PM Shri Narendra Modi’s guidance, India is progressing rapidly as a global leader. PM Shri Modi celebrated his birthday in Madhya Pradesh’s tribal region, Dhar, and laid the foundation of the country’s largest PM MITRA Park for cotton-based textiles.
CM Dr. Yadav reiterated the state government’s welfare measures, such as, distribution of uniforms, books, bicycles, laptops and scooters to students, ₹1500 monthly assistance to Ladli Behnas from Bhai Dooj,
additional support under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi to ensure farmers receive ₹12,000 annually, Ek Bagiya Maa Ke Naam scheme offering ₹3 lakh support to SHG women for orchards, and Dr. Ambedkar Kamdhenu Yojana providing ₹10 lakh subsidy for purchase of 25 cows. He also mentioned the Rahveer Yojana and the introduction of air ambulance services for accident victims. The Chief Minister stated that the state is establishing a large number of Sandipani Schools, developing the Ram Van Gaman Path setting up pilgrim centres at Lord Krishna’s sacred foot prints, and constructing Geeta Bhawans in every city. He inaugurated the conference by lighting the ceremonial lamp and performing Kanya Pujan, and also paid floral tributes to the late former Speaker, Shri Srinivas Tiwari, on his birth anniversary.
Public representatives praised the development initiatives. Rewa MP Shri Janardan Mishra said, “CM Dr. Yadav has gifted ₹162 crore projects to Tyonthar, including the ₹28 crore Chillawala Bridge, and highlighted the benefits of the new biogas plant for farmers. Tyonthar MLA Shri Siddharth Tiwari said, “CM Dr. Yadav is ‘Yugpurusha’ for bringing industrial development to the region, including new bridges, three Sandipani schools and ₹2 crore additional support each for two municipal bodies. He stressed that within 11 months of the Rewa Industrial Conclave, Vindhya’s first industrial plant is being set up at Tyonthar.
