I&PR Director Pu C. Lalnunkima Visits Lunglei, Meets I&PR Staff and District MJA Members

Lunglei, Sept 2025: Mizoram Government’s Information & Public Relations (I&PR) Director, Pu C. Lalnunkima, today visited the Lunglei District Information & Public Relations Office and met with the staff as well as members of the Mizoram Journalists’ Association (MJA), Lunglei District.

During the visit, Director Pu C. Lalnunkima highlighted the role of I&PR in effective governance and communication. He appreciated the dedicated service of the department staff and encouraged them to continue their efforts with sincerity and diligence. He emphasized that the department staff should support MJA members in their work and ensure effective outreach to the public for the welfare of the state.

Lunglei DIPRO Pu C. Lalhruaitluanga welcomed the Director and shared updates on district office activities. The Director also visited various sections of the district office, assessing their work and acknowledging their contribution to public service. He stressed the importance of dedication and long-term commitment, noting that performing duties with sincerity is in line with serving for the greater good.

District MJA President, Pu H. Lalthansanga, noted that the MJA members in Lunglei appreciated the visit and the engagement with the I&PR office staff. The Director also encouraged MJA members to continue their professional development and maintain high standards of service.

During the visit, Pu C. Lalnunkima also interacted with staff regarding office management, administrative improvements, and coordination with journalists. He concluded the visit with words of encouragement and support for continued dedication.

Pu C. Lalnunkima joined the I&PR Department on 1st December 1986 and served in various capacities over the years. On 1st April 2022, he assumed the position of I&PR Director. This September, he is scheduled to retire with superannuation pension.
