Students express gratitude to CM Yogi after receiving scholarships
Lucknow, Sept 2025 : On the occasion of Sharadiya Navratri, the exemplary initiative by CM Yogi for the self-reliance and safety of the state’s “future women power” brought smiles to students’ faces on Friday. On one hand, the Yogi government promoted education by providing scholarships. On the other hand, under Mission Shakti, students were made aware of various aspects of safety, empowering them to be aware and strong. While students were delighted to receive their scholarships ahead of schedule, they were also informed about the safety measures to follow, including the helpline numbers to contact in case of an emergency and how to seek police assistance.
This strengthened the sense of security among students and helped reinforce their commitment to building a ‘Sashakt Bharat – Sashakt Uttar Pradesh’. In addition, students were informed about positive developments in the education sector, self-reliance, and various aspects related to the Sustainable Development Goals, thereby expanding their awareness.

Sakshi Mishra, a student of Rajiv Gandhi Memorial Inter College, expressed her happiness at receiving the scholarship and said that the program provided her with information about various aspects of women empowerment. Awareness was spread about helpline numbers and other emergency measures. She added that the scholarship is a seed that will produce positive results for the country and the state in the future.

Safia Bano, a 12th-grade student of Government Girls Inter College, Behta, Bakshi Ka Talab, stated that she received the scholarship six months in advance due to CM Yogi’s efforts, which will aid her in her further studies. The participation of the police department in the program helped spread awareness about women’s empowerment. She said that she learned about helpline numbers, including 1090, and measures that can be taken to ensure personal safety. Likewise, Priya Sharma, a 9th-grade student, expressed her extreme happiness at receiving the scholarship from CM Yogi and thanked the CM for awarding it ahead of schedule.

Afsha Bano, a student of Government Girls Inter College, Behta, Bakshi Ka Talab, called CM Yogi’s initiative on women empowerment. She said that the information provided by police officials during the program was extremely useful. “Now there is no need to fear anyone. If any girl is harassed, she can immediately call 1090 or 112 for police assistance. The efforts of the police and CM Yogi are not only exemplary but also highly supportive for students in terms of safety, self-defence, and empowerment”, she said.

Similarly, Kusum Bharti, a 12th-grade student from Bhakhamau, expressed her happiness on meeting CM Yogi, saying, “Today, we all feel safe because the state policies are focused on this issue.
