‘Bastar Rising’ to Showcase Bastar’s Culture, Environment, and Entrepreneurship

Raipur, Oct 2025: As part of the ‘Bastar Rising’ campaign, a joint initiative by the Chhattisgarh Government’s Public Relations Department and the district administration of Bastar Division, the team today visited Tatamari in Keshkal Development Block.

On the first day of the campaign, the innovative delegation from Himachal Pradesh observed the ancient Shivling at Gobarhin, a site of archaeological importance, and learned about the 6th-century history of Garh Dhanora. Following this, the team admired the beauty of the Honhed Waterfall and praised its scenic splendor.

“Bastar Rising” under Harmony Fest 2025
It is noteworthy that under “Harmony Fest 2025”, the multi-dimensional campaign “Bastar Rising” has been launched to give national recognition to Bastar Division’s cultural, environmental, and entrepreneurial strengths. The Public Relations Department has initiated workshops, dialogue sessions, and cultural programs involving experts, youth, artisans, and local communities to highlight Bastar’s heritage.

Under the campaign’s theme “Dil Mela Dil Mein La”, Bastar’s inspiring stories, innovations, and cultural legacy will be showcased.

The seven-member team includes Pratul Jain, founder of Places of Possibilities, along with Parina Singhal, Palak Chaudhary, Ayushi Kapoor, Nishtha Joshi, Sadaf Anjum, and Frano DeSilva.
