Health and Hope Society Office and Study Centre Inaugurated in Siaha; Ambulance Service Launched for Public Use

Siaha, Oct 2025: The Health and Hope Society (HHS) inaugurated its office and study centre at H.C. Rotha Building, Siaha Bazar. During the same event, the HHS Ambulance Service was also officially launched.

The programme was presided over by Mr. Vabeilaikhai, Executive Member of HHS. The inauguration and dedication prayer for the office and ambulance were led by Rev. Dr. Setha Solo, Principal of Maraland Theological College, Siaha.

During the event, Mrs. C. Rachael, Subject Matter Specialist (KVK) and a member of the HHS founding team, spoke about the vision and work of the organisation. She explained that HHS was established in 2019 in Siaha District with the aim of bringing hope, overcoming community challenges, and supporting the underprivileged. She emphasized that HHS continues to work with dedication to assist local people in improving their livelihoods and wellbeing.

Mrs. Rachael also informed that the HHS Study Centre now operates in two locations in Siaha, providing educational support to students from various schools. She added that the newly launched ambulance service is intended for the benefit of women and children within Siaha town, available at a nominal charge of ₹200 per trip within the town area.

Guests present at the inauguration included Mrs. Pi Pi Chaki, President of MCHP General Headquarters; Dr. Chieky Azyu, Medical Officer, District Hospital Siaha; and Mr. Heibikliana Thangtu, Executive Member, HHS. The vote of thanks was delivered by Mrs. Florence T. Azyu, Assistant Secretary, HHS, marking the formal conclusion of the programme.
