Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh meets Prime Minister

Amaravati, Oct 2025 : Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Monday and extended invitations for two major upcoming events — the ‘Super GST–Super Savings’ event in Kurnool district and the CII Partnership Summit 2025 in Visakhapatnam.

Following his meeting with the Prime Minister, Chief Minister Naidu took to social media platform X to congratulate PM Modi on completing 25 years of public service as the head of the government. “On behalf of the people of Andhra Pradesh, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the Prime Minister for this remarkable milestone,” Naidu wrote, also commending the next-generation GST reforms being implemented under Modi’s leadership.

Sharing his thoughts on Instagram, Naidu said, “The upcoming ‘Super GST–Super Savings’ event in Kurnool will celebrate the public’s enthusiasm and appreciation for this visionary initiative. I am honoured to invite the Prime Minister to this event. Furthermore, I invited him to chair the CII Partnership Summit 2025, to be held in Visakhapatnam on November 14 and 15.”

Union Ministers Ram Mohan Naidu and Pemmasani Chandrasekhar, along with TDP MP Lavu Sri Krishna Devarayulu, accompanied the Chief Minister during his meeting with the Prime Minister.

The ‘Super GST–Super Savings’ event, scheduled for October 16 in Kurnool, will highlight the joint efforts of the central and state governments to promote fiscal prudence, transparency, and efficiency through next-generation GST reforms. The event aims to showcase how these reforms benefit both the business community and ordinary citizens.

Chief Minister Naidu also emphasized the significance of the CII Partnership Summit 2025, describing it as a key global platform for investment, collaboration, and innovation. The summit will bring together world leaders, industry heads, investors, and policymakers to explore new opportunities in Andhra Pradesh’s rapidly developing economy.

In addition to these engagements, Naidu is set to attend a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony between the Andhra Pradesh Information Technology Department and Google in New Delhi on Tuesday. The MoU will formalize the establishment of Asia’s first Google Data Centre in Visakhapatnam, a project expected to mark a major milestone in the state’s digital transformation.

This initiative underscores Naidu’s focus on technology-driven growth, investment promotion, and economic modernization. Under his leadership, Andhra Pradesh continues to strengthen its collaboration with the central government and the private sector to drive sustained development and innovation.
