Chandigarh, Oct 2025 : Senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and National Media In-Charge Anurag Dhanda launched a scathing attack on Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and former Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on the completion of one year of the BJP government in the state.

He alleged that the government in Haryana is not run by the people but by the “Delhi Durbar.” “Nayab Singh Saini is just a dummy Chief Minister, while real power and decisions still lie with Khattar and the BJP high command,” Dhanda said, adding that the government serves the BJP’s political interests, not the welfare of Haryana’s citizens.

Dhanda stated that under Saini’s rule, law and order in Haryana has completely deteriorated. NCRB data, he said, clearly shows that Haryana is now among the most unsafe states in the country. “Crimes against women have surged, conviction rates are falling, and criminals no longer fear the law. Instead of ensuring public safety, the government is busy in political promotion, with police and administration serving BJP leaders rather than the people,” he said.

On the plight of farmers, Dhanda accused the government of betrayal and deception. He said, “Despite promises of MSP guarantee on 24 crops, farmers were forced to sell paddy ₹500–700 below the support price due to delays, deductions over moisture and color, and corruption in procurement. The BJP government is pro-trader, not pro-farmer, using farmers as mere political tools.”

He further said that the current administration continues with Khattar’s old paper-based schemes, offering false promises and hollow guarantees. “One year on, the government has done nothing concrete to provide relief to citizens. Farmers got no justice, youth no jobs, and women no safety,” Dhanda added.

He criticized the government’s poor record in education, electricity, and employment, pointing out that thousands of teaching posts remain vacant, many schools run with a single teacher, recruitment exams are marred by paper leaks, and villages face frequent power cuts.

“The CM is only CM by name—real power lies elsewhere. This government gives free rein to criminals while deceiving farmers, youth, and women. But people now see through this farce,” Dhanda said, vowing that AAP will expose the BJP government’s failures in every village, town, and city.

He concluded, “In just one year, the BJP government has pushed Haryana into insecurity, corruption, unemployment, and anti-farmer policies. But the people will now rise, ask questions, and demand answers.”
