On Dhanteras, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma Gifts Farmers the Next Installment of the Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme

‘Prosperous Farmers, Happy Rajasthan’ is Our Government’s Core Vision — Shri Kanhaiya Lal Chaudhary

Jaipur, Oct 2025: On the auspicious occasion of Dhanteras, Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma transferred the fourth installment of financial assistance to farmers under the Mukhyamantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana during a state-level programme held in Nadwai, Bharatpur district, on Saturday. He also interacted virtually with the scheme’s beneficiaries.

At the district-level event held at the new Zila Parishad auditorium, the proceedings took place in the presence of Shri Kanhaiya Lal Chaudhary, Cabinet Minister for Public Health Engineering, who attended as the chief guest.

Addressing the gathering, Shri Chaudhary said that the government’s core goal is “Prosperous Farmers, Happy Rajasthan.” He described the Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, launched under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as a historic step toward providing direct financial benefits to small and marginal farmers.

He added that the Double Engine Government (Centre and State working together) has introduced several farmer-friendly initiatives — including the Soil Health Card scheme, distribution of quality seeds, timely compensation for crop loss, and an increase of 2 to 3 times in MSP (Minimum Support Price) of various crops compared to 2013 — all of which symbolize the government’s commitment to farmer prosperity.

On the occasion of Dhanteras, under the Chief Minister’s Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme, an amount of ₹24.25 crore was transferred to the accounts of 2.42 lakh farmers in Tonk district. Shri Chaudhary also shared details about other key schemes such as the Short-Term Interest-Free Crop Loan Scheme, One-Time Settlement Scheme, Credit Card Scheme, and Solar Pump Subsidy Scheme.

The event was attended by Devli-Uniara MLA Rajendra Gurjar, District Collector Kalpana Agarwal, District BJP President Chandraveer Singh Chauhan, and a large number of enthusiastic farmers.
