Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma urges people to adopt ‘Vocal for Local’ by purchasing local products during Diwali

Jaipur, Oct 2025: Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma extended his heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the people on the auspicious occasion of Diwali, wishing for their happiness and prosperity. Shri Sharma interacted with citizens on Sunday during the Diwali Milan programme held at the Chief Minister’s residence.

On the occasion, the Chief Minister urged people to prioritise the purchase of local products during the Diwali festival. He said that this will promote the ‘Vocal for Local’ initiative and give a significant boost to the local economy.

Shri Sharma further said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the reduction in GST rates has provided relief in essential goods and services such as food, clothing, and housing, benefiting the common man, middle class, farmers, and small traders alike.

During the event, the Chief Minister exchanged warm Diwali greetings with the attendees, performing the traditional ‘Rama-Shyama’ ritual with affection. The gathering also witnessed elders blessing the Chief Minister on the festive occasion.
