RIICO to Invite Applications from October 24 for Allocation of Plug & Play Flat Factory Complex Modules in Sitapura Industrial Area

Jaipur, Oct 2025 : RIICO has constructed a Flatted Factory Complex (Plug & Play) over an area of 4,167 square meters in the Sitapura Industrial Area. This is RIICO’s first project of its kind in Rajasthan, where industrial modules will be allocated to entrepreneurs on a license-fee basis through an online system. The main objective of this initiative is to provide ready-to-move units to entrepreneurs for the quick establishment of their businesses.

The estimated cost of this project is ₹25 crore, of which the Government of India has sanctioned a grant of ₹10.23 crore under the MSE-CDP Scheme. Along with the modular factory spaces, the complex also includes administrative offices, a bank, a training room, a conference hall, a canteen, and both goods and passenger lifts.

The building comprises a total of 33 modules — 3 on the ground floor, 10 each on the first, second, and third floors. Each module includes a built-up pantry area for convenience.

Under this Plug & Play facility, micro industries with an annual turnover not exceeding ₹5 crore in the garment and apparel sector will be provided built-up spaces ranging from 1,236 to 1,566 sq. ft. This will enable them to start operations immediately.

These ready-to-move modules will be allocated through e-bidding for a license period of 1 to 7 years, at a license fee starting from ₹18 per sq. ft., depending on the bid outcome. To facilitate this, RIICO has developed a dedicated online portal, which will become operational from October 24, 2025.

Interested entrepreneurs can apply through their SSO ID on the RIICO portal from October 24 to November 3, 2025 (until 6:00 PM) by depositing the EMD amount. The e-bidding process will be held on November 4, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing participants to secure their preferred ready-to-move modules.

In the first phase, 30 modules (from the first to the third floor) are proposed to be allocated to entrepreneurs in the garment and apparel sector. Of these, 6 modules are reserved for specific categories such as women, SC/ST entrepreneurs, ex-servicemen, and persons with disabilities.
