Funds to Boost Riddhapur’s Development, Assures Guardian Minister Chandrakant Patil
Riddhapur, renowned as the seat of Mahanubhava Panth and soon home to the world’s first Marathi language university, has received a boost with the inauguration of a new police post. Guardian Minister Chandrakant Patil, who also serves as the State Minister for Higher and Technical Education, Textile Industry, and Parliamentary Affairs, announced that funds will be allocated through CSR and other schemes to support the overall development of Riddhapur.
The new police station, established under Shirkhed Police Station, was inaugurated online by the Guardian Minister from the Revenue Building at the Collector’s Office. Patil emphasized Riddhapur’s historical and cultural significance, noting its role as the birthplace of the Marathi language and the place where “Lila Charitra” was written. He praised the district administration for setting up the police station and assured that the government would provide necessary funds for further development based on citizens’ demands.
Superintendent of Police Vishal Anand also highlighted the need for the new police station in Riddhapur and the steps taken by the police department to address this need. Patil encouraged the district administration to submit proposals for additional infrastructure needs to ensure Riddhapur’s continued growth and safety.
