Anta Assembly By-election 2025: General and Police Observers inspect inter-state border check post
Jaipur, Oct 2025 — Under the Anta Assembly by-election 2025, Election Commission–appointed General Observer Subhashree Nanda and Police Observer Gagandeep Gambhir on Sunday inspected the inter-state border check post at Benhatha in the Shahbad region.
During the inspection, the observers reviewed the security arrangements and issued necessary directions to the concerned officials. They also inquired with the police and administrative officers stationed at the post about the vehicle inspection procedures, monitoring of suspicious individuals, and preventive measures against the illegal transportation of cash, liquor, or other materials.
The observers instructed officials to ensure strict vigilance and intensive checking at the post throughout the election period to prevent any unlawful activities.
Shahbad Circle Officer Richhpal Meena, Tehsildar Anita Singh, Station House Officer Premsingh Meena, and the liaisoning officer were present during the inspection.
Voting for the Anta Assembly by-election is scheduled to be held on November 11. Administrative and police officials are conducting regular inspections across the area to ensure fair and peaceful polling as directed by the Election Commission.
