AAP MP Sanjay Singh hits campaign trail in Bihar Assembly elections
BJP-JDU government changes posters, not the state’s condition: Sanjay Singh
Patna, Oct 2025: The entry of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) into the Bihar election arena has stirred the political atmosphere. Senior AAP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, who arrived in Patna, launched a fierce attack on the BJP-JDU government, saying the people of Bihar must now “beware of the lies of dishonest parties.”
Sanjay Singh alleged that the BJP-JDU alliance has deceived the people of Bihar for the past 20 years. “They have given only promises to the poor and the youth but delivered nothing,” he said. Referring to Delhi’s Chhath Puja preparations, he remarked, “Even Goddess Chhath has exposed the BJP’s lies. In Delhi, they built fake ghats on the Yamuna and mocked the faith of people from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Those who stage dramas even on a sacred festival like Chhath will now have to face public questions.”
He accused BJP leaders of calling Biharis “migrants” while ruling the state for two decades. “If Bihar has lagged behind and jobs are scarce, then who is responsible?” he asked. Singh further alleged that in Delhi, the BJP demolished slums and shops belonging to people from UP and Bihar, and now the same leaders have come to Bihar seeking votes.
On the issue of unemployment, Singh said, “Prime Minister Modi had promised two crore jobs, but now the youth are being told to make reels. Bihar’s youth will make reels while Jay Shah earns crores from cricket — this is an insult to the youth.”
He also took aim at Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, saying, “A leader who doesn’t even recognize his own workers and places a flowerpot on a woman organizer’s head during an event — how will he recognize the people of Bihar?”
Sanjay Singh asserted that the Delhi government has worked honestly for ten years, serving people from UP, Bihar, and Purvanchal. “Now, with the same spirit, the Aam Aadmi Party has come to Bihar — not to make false promises like BJP and JDU, but to fight for the people’s real issues,” he said.
He added that wherever AAP has gone, people have voted for honesty. “In Gujarat, our MLAs have become the voice of the people, and now Bihar will also see change.”
Targeting Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Singh said, “The CM’s bulldozer is now running over temples — just look at Kashi, Ayodhya, and Mirzapur. The BJP has become a factory of hatred, working against Muslims, Dalits, and the poor.”
Concluding his address, Singh said, “The people of Bihar now want change. The Aam Aadmi Party represents honest politics and will fight for the people — from the streets to Parliament.”
