Initiate Action to Establish a Bird Park in Vasai Municipal Limits – Guardian Minister Ganesh Naik

Mumbai, Oct 2025 : Necessary action should be taken to set up a bird park within the limits of the Vasai-Virar Municipal Corporation. Trees suitable for birds must be planted in this park, directed Forest Minister and Palghar District Guardian Minister Ganesh Naik.

Minister Naik reviewed various development works in the Vasai-Virar Municipal Corporation area during a meeting held at the Mantralaya, where he gave these instructions.

The approved development plan of the Vasai-Virar Municipal Corporation includes a reservation for a picnic park. A bird park should be developed on this seven-acre land. The required land acquisition and other procedures must be completed promptly. If bird-friendly trees are not available in government nurseries, they should be procured from private nurseries, he instructed.

Present at the meeting were Vasai-Virar Municipal Commissioner Manoj Suryawanshi, Palghar Zilla Parishad CEO Manoj Ranade, and others.

Inauguration of Ayushman Health Temples

On behalf of the Vasai-Virar Municipal Corporation, 11 Ayushman Health Temples have been established. These health centers were inaugurated online at the hands of Guardian Minister Naik.

He also instructed officials to follow up with the Rural Development Department regarding the transfer of 117 schools and three health centers from the Zilla Parishad to the municipal corporation in the Palghar Municipal limits.
