Mohan Yadav Says NDA Will Return to Power in Bihar, As Campaigning for First Phase Ends
Patna, Nov 2025 : With the Bihar Assembly elections fast approaching, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Tuesday expressed strong confidence that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will return to power in the state. Speaking to IANS during a BJP bike rally on the final day of campaigning, Yadav said the people of Bihar trust the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and will once again choose the NDA to lead the state.
“The only option is the NDA government,” Yadav asserted. “Under the leadership of Nitish Kumar at the state level and the Modi government at the Centre, the NDA will be formed again with its allies. There is no competition—so why get caught in confusion? The people of Bihar want development and progress, and the NDA is ready to take the state forward in partnership with the nation.”
Yadav added that the alliance enjoys strong public confidence. “People have faith in the NDA government, and they will ensure its victory once again,” he said.
Meanwhile, electioneering for the first phase of the Bihar Assembly elections concludes at 5 pm today. A total of 121 constituencies across 18 districts will go to the polls on November 6. Extensive security arrangements have been put in place to ensure peaceful voting.
Top leaders and star campaigners from the NDA, Mahagathbandhan, and other political parties are making their final push today, holding rallies, public meetings, and roadshows in multiple districts in a bid to bolster support for their candidates. The final hours of the campaign are witnessing intense political activity, with parties striving to influence undecided voters.
The Election Commission of India has scheduled the Bihar Assembly elections in two phases—November 6 and November 11—for the 243-seat Legislature. Counting of votes will take place on November 14. With the Model Code of Conduct in full effect, the election machinery is focused on ensuring a free, fair, and transparent electoral process.
Of the total seats, 121 will be contested in the first phase and 122 in the second phase. As Bihar heads into another crucial electoral battle, political temperatures are rising, and all eyes are now on November 6, when the first round of voting will determine the early momentum in this high-stakes contest.
