Record Healthcare Recruitment Drive Completed in Rajasthan Under CM Bhajan Lal Sharma

Jaipur, Nov 2025 : Under the initiative of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, the process of filling vacant posts in the state is being carried out with full commitment. The Medical Department, taking this priority of the state government in mission mode, has created a record by making the highest number of recruitments in a short span of time. The Department of Medical & Health and Medical Education has so far completed the recruitment process for more than 35,000 posts and has already issued appointments to over 28,000 youths. Notably, during the tenure of the current government, nearly 91,000 appointments have been made so far, and recruitment for about 1,50,000 posts is in progress.

Medical & Health Minister Mr. Gajendra Singh Khimsar stated that before the tenure of the present government began, a large number of posts in the medical and health sector were vacant, which significantly affected the accessibility of healthcare services. Even cities faced severe shortages of healthcare personnel, while the situation in villages and small towns was even more concerning. In such a scenario, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma instructed that recruitments be completed within a fixed timeframe. Following these directives, the Medical Department carried out recruitments in mission mode and set an example. The department had set a target to recruit around 50,000 posts, and with meaningful efforts in this direction, it has already completed recruitment for more than 35,000 posts. Recruitment for another 15,000 posts is underway and will be completed soon.
