Cultural Values Have Strengthened India’s Democracy – Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis

Nagpur, Nov 2025 : “Our neighbouring countries could not sustain democracy, but in India, it not only survived — it flourished. This is because our foundational culture is built upon the values of democracy and tolerance. These very values are embedded in our Constitution, giving us a strong constitutional framework. As a result, our nation is progressing and our democracy continues to grow stronger,” said Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today.

He was speaking as the Chief Guest at the inaugural session of Sanskar Bharati’s All India Annual General Meeting. The two-day meeting is being held at the Maharshi Vyas Auditorium in Reshimbagh. Gurudev Seva Mandal’s General Secretary Janardan Bothe, Padma Shri awardee and Zhadipatti theatre veteran Parashuram Khune, Sanskar Bharati’s All India President Dr. Mysuru Manjunath, and Vidarbha Region President Kanchantai Gadkari were prominently present on the dais.

The Chief Minister also appealed that organisations like Sanskar Bharati must take the lead in guiding society, especially at a time when innovations like artificial intelligence compel humans to compete with machines. He emphasized the need to understand the technological upheaval brought about by such advancements and channel them in the right direction to benefit society.

Sanskar Bharati’s All India General Secretary Ashish Dalvi, actor Nitish Bharadwaj, and many distinguished guests were also present. Around 400 delegates from across the country are participating in this general meeting. At the beginning of the event, Sanskar Bharati’s All India President Dr. Manjunath welcomed Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
