District Election Officer Conducts Surprise Inspection of Assembly Areas
Jaipur, Nov 2025 : Under the Special Intensive Revision Programme (SIR-2026), being carried out in compliance with the directions of the Election Commission of India, Booth Level Officers (BLOs) are visiting households to collect enumeration forms from voters until December 4.
In Jaipur, a total of 19,22,786 enumeration forms have been distributed in the past six days. District Election Officer Dr. Jitendra Kumar Soni has been consistently monitoring the progress of the special revision programme across the district. On Sunday, he conducted surprise inspections in various assembly constituencies to review the distribution and mapping of enumeration forms. He inspected the work in Jobner, Kalwar, Machwa of Jhotwara constituency, and Sur Singhpura in Phulera constituency, among other areas.
During the inspection, he took feedback from officials and staff involved in the election process. He also appealed to all voters to actively cooperate with BLOs by providing complete and accurate information in the enumeration form so that their details can be properly mapped with the previous electoral roll.
Following the District Election Officer’s instructions, all Electoral Registration Officers (EROs) and Assistant EROs carried out surprise inspections in their respective constituencies on Sunday. They reviewed the progress of form distribution and mapping under the special revision programme.
Jaipur Deputy District Election Officer Meghraj Meena informed that, as per Dr. Soni’s directions, BLOs are distributing enumeration forms door-to-door, while EROs are conducting field inspections. Distribution figures include:
- Chaksu: 1,36,455 forms
- Amer: 1,62,554
- Bassi: 1,24,137
- Chomu: 1,27,135
- Dudu: 1,26,457
- Shahpura: 1,16,267
- Phulera: 1,27,461
- Jamwaramgarh: 1,10,698
- Malviya Nagar: 85,386
In other constituencies:
- Jhotwara: 1,72,757 forms
- Adarsh Nagar: 90,031
- Kishanpole: 61,685
- Civil Lines: 75,267
- Vidyadhar Nagar: 1,08,163
- Hawamahal: 79,497

Deputy District Election Officer Meena added that voters whose details are successfully mapped during the enumeration period will not need to submit any additional documents. He urged all voters to extend full cooperation during the Special Intensive Revision Programme and help ensure a smooth and successful electoral process.
