India International Trade Fair: Chhattisgarh to Showcase Its Industrial Growth from November 14 in Delhi

Tourism, Culture, and Agro-Based Industry Potential to Take Center Stage — Exhibition to Feature Forest Produce and a Millet Café

Raipur, Nov 2025 : From November 14, the vibrant industrial growth of Chhattisgarh will be on full display at the India International Trade Fair (IITF), held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, until November 27. The state’s pavilion, designed under the theme “Ek Bharat – Shreshtha Bharat” (One India – Great India), will highlight Chhattisgarh’s economic progress, favorable business environment, and new industrial policies.

Industrialists and investors from across India and abroad will participate in the event. The Chhattisgarh Pavilion will offer visitors an insight into the state’s industrial ecosystem, including investment opportunities, Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), and details about products and incentives available under the new Industrial Development Policy. Investor connect sessions and business meetings will also be organized to promote industrial investment in the state.

The pavilion will further spotlight Chhattisgarh’s rich culture and tourism potential to attract investments in employment-generating activities based on cultural and eco-tourism sectors. Visitors will learn about opportunities in handicrafts, forest-based industries, and Khadi and Village Industries. A digital exhibition focused on the Bastar region will showcase the integration of traditional art with modern technology.

On November 24, Chhattisgarh Day will be celebrated at Bharat Mandapam, featuring performances organized by the Department of Culture. The Governor, Chief Minister, and Cabinet members are expected to attend. Daily cultural performances by traditional dance troupes will enrich the state’s presence at the fair, accompanied by live demonstrations of handicrafts, handlooms, and spinning wheels (charkha), as well as product exhibitions and sales.

A special highlight will be the Millet Café, which will promote nutritious grains such as kodo, kutki, ragi, and sama, cultivated in Chhattisgarh. The café will raise awareness about millet-based entrepreneurship and value-added products.

Additionally, exhibitions will feature organic and exotic food items from Chhattisgarh to expand their national and international market reach. The Minor Forest Produce Federation will also display and sell products made from local forest resources, with efforts to market them through FMCG companies globally.

The pavilion will further promote Chhattisgarh’s scenic tourist destinations, infrastructure, and eco-tourism opportunities, inviting more visitors to explore the diverse and sustainable development of the state.
