Distribution of Approximately ₹194 Crore by the Public Works Department for Building Maintenance and Repairs

Mumbai, Nov 2025 : The Public Works Department has announced that approximately ₹194 crore has been allocated to the Nagpur division of the department to ensure smooth execution of building maintenance and repair works, as well as preparations ahead of the upcoming Winter Session in Nagpur.

Out of this amount, ₹151.19 crore was released last year specifically for building maintenance and repair. For the smooth conduct of the Nagpur Winter Session, an additional ₹20 crore has been allocated this year for preparatory works. Furthermore, ₹22.76 crore has been sanctioned for additional building maintenance and repair.

In total, ₹42.76 crore has been disbursed to the Nagpur division this year, the Public Works Department stated.
