Nov 2025 : Nahargarh Biological Park witnessed a thrilling and vibrant Sunday as more than 2,000 tourists flocked to the Jaipur-based sanctuary to enjoy close encounters with wildlife. With pleasant weather and a weekend holiday coinciding, a total of 2,068 visitors explored the park, which buzzed with excitement from morning onwards.

Assistant Forest Conservator Devendra Singh Rathore said that the Lion Safari was the biggest highlight of the day, drawing 432 tourists who enjoyed the exhilarating experience of observing Asiatic lions up close. The playful movements of the lions, their majestic expressions, and the natural forest ambience offered an unforgettable adventure.

The White Tiger also remained a major point of curiosity for families, school groups, and tourists who arrived specifically to see the rare animal and showed keen interest in its behaviour and activities. The unique blend of greenery, calm surroundings, and wildlife in the heart of the city proved to be a perfect weekend outing.

Under the guidance of Chief Forest Conservator Dr. T. Mohanraj, the park continues to upgrade its safety, cleanliness, guidance, and other facilities. To prioritize visitor safety, lion safari gates and bus drivers have been equipped with wireless sets to ensure efficient communication and smooth safari operations.

On Sunday, DCF Vijaypal Singh and ACF Devendra Singh Rathore inspected the park, reviewed all arrangements, and issued necessary instructions. Staff members including Rajaram Meena, Sonu Meena, Kailash, Assistant Forest Officer Hansa Devi, Sarita Chaudhary, Umesh Vashistha, Nirmala Devi, and Bhawar Singh played a commendable role in managing visitor safety, vehicle arrangements, and safari operations throughout the day.

Nahargarh Biological Park is fast emerging as a major hub of natural beauty, adventure, and educational experiences for Jaipur residents as well as tourists from across India. With the upcoming tourist season, the number of visitors is expected to rise even further.
