Special Honor for Children of Ex-Servicemen Excelling in Various Fields

Mumbai : A special honor award of Rs. 10,000 will be given to the top five children of ex-servicemen or their spouses from each board who score more than 90% in their 10th and 12th-grade exams. Ex-servicemen families are requested to inform the District Soldier Welfare Office, Mumbai City, by August 31, 2024.

Additionally, children of ex-servicemen who secure admission to prestigious institutes like IIT, IIM, or AIIMS will receive a special award of Rs. 25,000. Ex-servicemen, their spouses, and children who have won awards in fields such as sports, literature, music, singing, instrumental performance, dance, entrepreneurship, outstanding contributions in computer science, valuable efforts during natural disasters, or any significant achievements that enhance the reputation of the country and state will also be honored with this award.
