Rajasthan Wins Gold at India International Trade Fair 2025; Jaipur Pavilion a Top Attraction
Jaipur, Nov 2025 : Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, Rajasthan was awarded the Gold Medal for its outstanding and innovative display at the 44th India International Trade Fair 2025, held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. Colonel Rajyavardhan Rathore, Minister of Industry and Commerce, announced that the recognition reflects the excellence of the Rajasthan Pavilion and is a matter of pride for the entire state.
The pavilion, developed under the guidance of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, showcased the state’s rich heritage in arts, handicrafts, and culture. The Gold Medal achievement is expected to boost the promotion and preservation of Rajasthani cultural and artistic traditions, ensuring their wider reach to national and international visitors.
Colonel Rathore highlighted the collaborative participation of departments and organizations including RECO, Rajasthali Emporium, BIP, Khadi, Rajeevika, and RUDA, which made the pavilion vibrant, attractive, and experience-focused. The pavilion emerged as the first choice for visitors, reflecting both innovation and cultural richness.
A special feature of this year’s pavilion was the cultural integration of Rajasthan and Assam, aligned with Prime Minister Modi’s vision of “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat” (One India, Best India). This initiative facilitated effective exchange of arts, culture, and trade potential between the two states, strengthening bilateral commercial and cultural relations.
The trade fair provided artisans, craftsmen, entrepreneurs, and investors from Rajasthan a broad platform to showcase their products and skills at both national and international levels. The “One District, One Product” wall created by Rajasthali Emporium displayed products from all 41 districts of Rajasthan, drawing significant attention from visitors.
In addition, the celebration of the Migrant Rajasthani Day featured impactful presentations of the “One District, One Product” initiative under the directives of the Chief Minister, allowing visitors and Jaipur residents alike to experience the state’s craftsmanship and enterprise firsthand.
The success at IITF 2025 not only recognizes Rajasthan’s creative and cultural excellence but also strengthens opportunities for handicraft entrepreneurs and artisans to expand their reach, foster trade, and inspire pride in the state’s unique heritage.
