Rajasthan Government to Organize 7-Day Urban Grievance Redressal Camp from Dec 17–24
Jaipur, Dec 2025: Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and guidance of Urban Development & Housing Minister Jhabar Singh Kharra, the Rajasthan government will hold a 7-day “Urban Grievance Redressal Camp-2025” from December 17 to 24 to address citizens’ issues efficiently.
A joint meeting was held on Thursday at the DLB headquarters auditorium, chaired by Principal Secretary, Urban Development & Housing, Debashish Prashti, and Principal Secretary, Department of Autonomous Governance, Ravi Jain, to finalize camp preparations. Senior officials from both departments discussed detailed plans for implementation, monitoring, and ensuring smooth public services.
The camps will follow all exemptions and relaxations previously provided under Urban Service Camp-2025. Principal Secretary Prashti instructed that each urban local body and authority must mandatorily conduct the camp. All pending and new applications will be resolved on-site between 10 AM and 5 PM, with sessions continuing until all matters are addressed.
Principal Secretary Ravi Jain directed urban bodies to maintain robust arrangements from pre-preparation to final resolution and coordinate with local representatives to create actionable plans for residents’ issues.
In earlier follow-up camps, 39,800 tenancy-related cases and 20,888 other land-related cases were resolved, including 10,030 name transfers, 3,987 urban development tax cases, 3,554 building plan approvals, 1,753 land sub-division/reorganization cases, 776 construction period extensions, 365 interest relief recoveries, 423 land-use change approvals, 43,269 household waste collection cases, and 4,977 individual household toilet approvals with first installment disbursed.
The meeting was attended by Director Prateek Juikar, Additional Director Seema, Chief Engineer Arun Vyas, and senior officials from all urban local bodies and urban development boards.
