Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh Embarks on Five-Day North America Tour to Attract Investments

Dec 2025 : Andhra Pradesh Minister for IT, Electronics, and Human Resources, Nara Lokesh, is set to begin a five-day tour of the United States and Canada on December 6, aimed at promoting investment opportunities in the state. The tour will cover key cities in North America and involve high-level engagements with business leaders, industrialists, and the Telugu diaspora.

The itinerary will commence in Dallas on December 6, where Nara Lokesh will meet with the Telugu community to strengthen ties and highlight Andhra Pradesh’s investment-friendly environment. He will then travel to San Francisco, where on December 8 and 9, he is scheduled to hold discussions with representatives from several leading global companies to explore potential partnerships and new investment prospects. The tour will conclude in Toronto, Canada, on December 10, where Nara Lokesh will engage with local industrialists and stakeholders to further showcase the state’s business potential.

This will be Nara Lokesh’s second visit to the US since the formation of the new coalition government in Andhra Pradesh. Over the past 18 months, he has undertaken multiple international visits, including trips to the US, Davos, Singapore, and Australia, all focused on positioning Andhra Pradesh as a preferred investment destination. His proactive international outreach has been widely acknowledged for contributing to the state’s growing profile as a business and industrial hub.

The minister’s efforts played a notable role during the recent Partnership Summit in Visakhapatnam, where he highlighted the state’s industry-friendly policies and the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. These initiatives reportedly encouraged significant investor interest and set the stage for new projects in sectors such as IT, electronics, and human resources.

The Andhra Pradesh government has expressed strong confidence in the upcoming tour, citing Nara Lokesh’s previous successes. His earlier visit to the US was credited with facilitating Google’s decision to establish operations in the state, demonstrating the effectiveness of his outreach strategy.
