Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai Wishes Jnanpith Awardee Writer Vinod Kumar Shukla a Speedy Recovery

Raipur, December 2025 : This evening, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai visited the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Raipur, and met with the senior writer Vinod Kumar Shukla, recipient of the Bharatiya Jnanpith Award, who is undergoing treatment, to wish him a speedy recovery. The Chief Minister consulted the doctors regarding Mr. Shukla’s health and instructed them to ensure the best possible medical care.

Chief Minister Sai said that Vinod Kumar Shukla is a priceless treasure of Indian literature. His creativity, sensitivity, and expression of profound emotions in simple language bring pride to both the nation and the state. On this occasion, the Chief Minister’s media advisor Pankaj Jha and Shashank Sharma, President of the Chhattisgarh Sahitya Academy, were also present.
