Two-Year Achievements to Reach Public Through Development Rath — Education Minister and Kota In-Charge Minister Flag Off Rath

Jaipur, Dec 2025: On the completion of two years of the state government, development raths were flagged off from Kota on Saturday to broadly promote the government’s achievements, flagship schemes, and budget announcements across various assembly constituencies. Audio-visual displays on LED screens on the raths will inform the public about developmental works carried out in the state and Kota district over the past two years, along with implementation details of key government schemes and initiatives.

The raths covering six assembly constituencies of Kota district were flagged off at the district council premises by Education and Panchayati Raj Minister Madan Dilawar and Kota District In-Charge Minister Gautam Kumar Dak. Before the flag-off, both ministers reviewed the raths. The In-Charge Minister instructed that all raths follow their designated routes with maximum public participation, ensuring that nodal officers facilitate wide reach in the assembly areas.

The minister stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, the state government’s developmental works over the past two years will be communicated to the public through these raths. Significant projects in Kota district were also highlighted. Notably, the long-pending demand for an airport is being addressed, with progress on the Kota-Bundi Greenfield Airport accelerated through the efforts of Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and the Chief Minister. The airport is expected to boost tourism and the coaching sector in the Kota division.

During the event, the In-Charge Minister also administered an oath for traffic rule compliance under the state’s road safety campaign.

Control Room for Monitoring
Control rooms have been established to monitor the raths’ journeys and ensure safety according to the route chart. The locations of all raths will be geo-tagged and tracked daily, with monitoring at both district and state levels.

The raths will carry development booklets, pamphlets, and other promotional material detailing departmental achievements of the state government. Additionally, suggestion boxes will be placed on the raths, allowing citizens to submit grievances, suggestions, and feedback.

The flag-off ceremony was attended by Kota South MLA Sandeep Sharma, Ladpura MLA Kalpana Devi, Zila Pramukh Mukesh Meghwal, Rakesh Jain, Prem Gochar, Divisional Commissioner Anil Kumar Agrawal, District Collector Piyush Samaria, ADM Seeling Krishna Shukla, and CEO District Council Kamal Kumar Meena.
