“Progressive Rajasthan – Our Rajasthan”: District-Level Program Successfully Held in Jodhpur
December 2025, Jaipur : On the occasion of the completion of two years of the current state government, a grand district-level program titled “Progressive Rajasthan – Our Rajasthan” was organized on Saturday at the Collectorate premises in Jodhpur. The event included the flagging off of Development Rath (LED Mobile Vans) and a Road Safety Awareness Campaign.
The program was inaugurated with the ceremonial worship and flagging off of Development Raths for all eight assembly constituencies of the district by Parliamentary Affairs, Law & Legal Affairs, and Law Advisory & Justice Minister Jogaram Patel along with other elected representatives. Amidst the rhythmic beats of traditional drums and the vibrant colors of rangolis, the raths were sent off to travel across all assembly constituencies, promoting the state government’s welfare schemes, development programs, and achievements.
Helmets Distributed to Students with Disabilities
During the event, Minister Patel administered a road safety pledge to the attendees and urged the public through media interactions to strictly follow traffic rules. Additionally, Parliamentary Affairs Minister and Lok Sabha MP (Pali) P.P. Chaudhary, along with MLAs Devendra Joshi, Atul Bhansali, Arjun Lal Garg, and other representatives, distributed helmets to students with disabilities. During media interactions, the leaders emphasized road safety as a vital life-saving measure and encouraged public awareness on the issue.
Vehicle Rally Spreads Road Safety Message Across the City
In continuation, an auto/vehicle rally organized by the Transport Department was flagged off to guide the public on road safety. The rally followed a predetermined route starting from the Collectorate premises, passing through New Road, Puri Tiraha, Railway Station, Olympic Chauraha, and Jalori Gate, before concluding at Sahkar Bhavan. Elected representatives also flagged off the Transport Department’s awareness rath as part of the event.
The program was attended by Divisional Commissioner Pratibha Singh, District Collector Gaurav Agrawal, and other senior officials, highlighting the administration’s commitment to public welfare and safety.
The event successfully combined awareness, celebration of developmental achievements, and citizen engagement, marking a significant milestone in promoting both state development programs and road safety consciousness among the public.
