CM Dhami meets BJP’s new National Working President Nitin Nabin; hails party’s momentum, Maharashtra election gains
Delhi, Dec 2025 : Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami met the newly appointed National Working President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Nitin Nabin, in New Delhi on Sunday and congratulated him on taking charge of his new role. Sharing photos of the meeting on social media platform X, Dhami wrote, “Met BJP National Executive President Nitin Nabin in New Delhi and congratulated him on his new responsibility. Your experience, energy, and organizational skills will strengthen the party under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Heartiest wishes for your successful tenure.”
Nitin Nabin’s appointment marks what many see as a generational shift within the party. A former minister in Bihar, Nabin has been elevated to the party’s top organisational level — a move that underscores the BJP’s focus on infusing fresh leadership into its structure. Political observers view the development as part of a wider strategy to further strengthen the party under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP president JP Nadda ahead of key electoral cycles.
Leaders within the party believe that Nitin Nabin’s political experience and organisational background will play a crucial role in the BJP’s expansion, outreach, and election preparation efforts nationwide.
Meanwhile, CM Dhami also commented on the BJP’s strong performance in the recently concluded local body elections in Maharashtra. In a separate post on X, he congratulated party workers and office-bearers, writing: “Heartiest congratulations to all the hardworking workers and respected officials of the Maharashtra BJP and NDA family for the overwhelming public support received by the Mahayuti in the Nagar Panchayat and Municipal Council elections in Maharashtra.”
Dhami described the result as a reflection of public trust in the welfare schemes implemented under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, along with the governance model and public service-driven work of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. He expressed gratitude to voters, saying their support made the “historic victory” possible.
Nitin Nabin also celebrated the election outcome in Maharashtra. Posting on X, he wrote that the sweeping mandate in the municipal and panchayat polls demonstrated strong support for the NDA government under PM Modi.
He extended congratulations to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar, BJP state president Ravindra Chavan, and the party’s dedicated workers.
The series of social media exchanges reflects the BJP’s renewed confidence as it moves into a critical phase of organisational expansion and election planning, backed by emerging leadership and recent electoral gains.
