AAP’s ‘Save Vote, Save Constitution’ March Gains Momentum in Uttar Pradesh
Rampur / Moradabad, December 2025: On the second day of the Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) “Save Vote, Save Constitution” march, public support and activism intensified. The six-day march, led by AAP senior leader, Uttar Pradesh in-charge, and MP Sanjay Singh, began Monday morning near J.R. Palace, Ambedkar Park, in front of the CRPF, along Moradabad Road, Rampur.

As the march reached Dalpatpur in Moradabad, local residents warmly welcomed Sanjay Singh, and along the route, the march received overwhelming support from citizens. The campaign aims to raise awareness against the BJP’s alleged large-scale attempts to manipulate votes in Uttar Pradesh under the guise of SIR, including tampering with voter lists, disenfranchising poor, Dalit, backward, and minority communities, and weakening the Constitution.
During the march, Sanjay Singh stated that ahead of the elections, extensive irregularities are being planned in the voter lists to undermine the democratic process. He emphasized that the vote is not merely a right but the greatest power of the people, and that SIR is being misused to weaken this power. He asserted that AAP will expose this conspiracy in every district, village, and neighborhood.

Sanjay Singh further explained that this is not a fight against a single election or government, but a struggle to protect the democratic rights of future generations. “If the attack on votes succeeds today, the voice of the people will be permanently silenced tomorrow,” he warned. He stressed that AAP is mobilizing citizens to safeguard the Constitution and voting rights from any government attempting to undermine them.
Sanjay Singh also criticized the current political focus, saying that attention is being diverted from serious issues like unemployment, inflation, farmers’ distress, and deteriorating schools and hospitals, while politics of fear and hatred are being promoted. He reiterated that AAP practices politics of rights and work, not hatred, and if in power, will prioritize education, health, and employment.
The second day of the march passed through several areas, facilitating direct interaction with citizens. In the evening, the march reached Insha Garden, Chamora, near the railway crossing, Dalpatpur, Moradabad, where participants rested for the night.
Along the route, hundreds of party workers, youth, women, and local residents warmly welcomed Sanjay Singh, joining the march and lending their support to the movement to save votes and protect the Constitution.
Key Messages from Sanjay Singh:
- “If votes are not protected, the voice of the people will not be protected.”
- “This struggle is not of today but for the rights of generations to come.”
- “We will practice politics of rights and work, not hatred.”
- “Votes will protect the Constitution, and the Constitution will protect our dignity.”
The march continues from 21–26 December through Rampur, Moradabad, and Amroha as part of AAP’s campaign to defend democracy in Uttar Pradesh.
