Nitin Nabin Targets Rahul Gandhi, Tejashwi Yadav, Calls for Full-Time Commitment in Politics

Patna, Dec 2025 : BJP National Working President Nitin Nabin on Tuesday launched a scathing attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav, branding them as “part-time politicians” and urging Bharatiya Janata Party workers to remain fully committed to public service and nation-building.

Addressing a massive gathering at the Miller High School Ground in Patna during a grand felicitation ceremony organised in his honour, Nabin said the BJP’s ideology is rooted in full-time dedication, discipline, and grassroots engagement. He asserted that the party’s leaders and workers do not treat politics as a convenience-based occupation.

“BJP members do full-time politics. We must never indulge in part-time politics like Rahul Gandhi,” Nabin said, drawing loud applause from party workers.

Taking a sharp dig at the Congress leader, Nabin accused Rahul Gandhi of repeatedly undermining national institutions and disrespecting the country. “When Rahul Gandhi is in India, he abuses the Constitution and the Election Commission. When he goes abroad, he criticises and insults the country. Such behaviour is unacceptable, and people who do this should be held accountable,” he said.

Without directly naming Tejashwi Yadav, Nabin launched an indirect attack on the RJD leader, accusing him of lacking seriousness toward his legislative duties. “There is also a leader in Bihar who practices part-time politics. Whenever the Assembly is in session, he conveniently leaves,” Nabin remarked, suggesting a contrast between BJP’s work ethic and that of the opposition.

Describing the present period as a “time of change,” Nabin called upon BJP workers in Bihar to step forward with renewed energy and dedication. He urged them to actively contribute to the development of Bihar and the nation by ensuring that welfare schemes reach people at the grassroots level.

“There is no shortcut in politics. One must work continuously with a long-term vision and unwavering commitment,” he said, stressing that sustained effort is the only path to public trust and electoral success.

Reflecting on his personal connection with the state, Nabin said Patna and Bihar hold a special place in his heart, regardless of where his organisational responsibilities take him. “Wherever I may be posted, Patna and the people of Bihar live in my heart. I can never forget the love of the people of Bankipur and the respect and affection shown by party workers,” he said emotionally.

Tuesday marked Nitin Nabin’s first visit to Patna after assuming charge as the BJP’s National Working President. He received a rousing welcome, with senior leaders and party workers turning out in large numbers. The Bihar BJP organised a grand felicitation ceremony at the Miller School Ground to honour his elevation to the national leadership.

Addressing the gathering, Nabin expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP National President J.P. Nadda, and Union Home Minister Amit Shah for placing their trust in Bihar and its leadership. He said their confidence reflects the growing importance of Bihar within the party’s national framework.

Highlighting the BJP’s organisational strength, Nabin said the party empowers even the smallest worker. “This is the beauty of the BJP. A booth-level worker, when given national responsibility, works with the same dedication and discipline as the top leadership,” he said.

Referring to recent local body elections, Nabin asserted that the BJP continues to register victories wherever polls are held. “The winning momentum that began in Bihar will now spread to West Bengal and Kerala as well. The saffron flag will fly everywhere,” he declared confidently.

Concluding his address, Nabin urged party workers to work harder to live up to the trust reposed in them by the people. “To honour that trust, we must ensure that every government scheme reaches the last person standing in the queue,” he said.
