India’s First Digital Museum Dedicated to Tribal Warrior Heroes to Be Showcased on Kartavya Path Chhattisgarh Tableau Selected for Republic Day Parade

Raipur, December 2025: At the upcoming Republic Day celebrations, Chhattisgarh’s tableau will be a major attraction on Kartavya Path in New Delhi. This year, the state’s tableau will present a captivating glimpse of the country’s first digital museum dedicated to tribal warrior heroes. An expert committee of the Ministry of Defence has selected Chhattisgarh’s tableau for inclusion in the main Republic Day समारोह.

Notably, this digital museum was inaugurated by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi at Nava Raipur Atal Nagar on the occasion of the silver jubilee of the formation of Chhattisgarh.

Congratulating the state on the selection of the tableau, Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai said that through Chhattisgarh’s tableau, citizens across the country will get an opportunity to witness the unwavering patriotism of the tribal community, their exceptional bravery, and the glorious tradition of sacrifice for their principles. He described the selection as a matter of pride and enthusiasm for the entire state.

Secretary of the Public Relations Department, Shri Rohit Yadav, said that all states had submitted their tableau proposals to the Ministry of Defence. After an extensive and rigorous selection process lasting nearly four months, tableaux from 17 states were finally selected, including that of Chhattisgarh. The expert committee particularly appreciated the theme, presentation style, and innovative design of the Chhattisgarh tableau.

Public Relations Commissioner Shri Ravi Mittal informed that Chhattisgarh’s tableau is based on the Government of India’s theme, “Swatantrata ka Mantra – Vande Mataram.” The tableau depicts the extraordinary sacrifices and struggles of tribal warrior heroes, in whose honour the country’s first digital museum has been established. This museum plays a significant role in presenting the heroic tales of tribal movements and uprisings to the new generation in an engaging, interactive, and inspiring manner. The selection is not only a proud representation of Chhattisgarh’s cultural and historical heritage on the national stage, but also a powerful medium for giving due recognition to the contributions of the tribal community.

“Selection of Chhattisgarh’s tableau for the Republic Day parade is a matter of pride for the entire state. Through this tableau, we have the opportunity to present on the national मंच the immortal stories of tribal warrior heroes preserved in the country’s first digital museum—their patriotism, indomitable courage, and tradition of sacrifice. This tableau is not merely a display, but a symbol of the nation’s gratitude and respect towards the contributions of the tribal community, which will inspire future generations,”
Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai
