Chief Minister Dr. Yadav conducted a detailed review of the incident, the current situation, and the arrangements made so far. He issued clear instructions that such an incident must not recur under any circumstances in the future. He stated that ensuring the supply of clean and safe drinking water to citizens is the government’s highest priority, and any negligence in this regard will invite strict action.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav directed Additional Chief Secretary (Urban Administration) Shri Sanjay Dubey to remain stationed in Indore to ensure continuous monitoring and swift decision-making. Once the regular water supply resumes, immediate corrective action will be taken wherever there is any indication of leakage or contamination. He said that the water supply has been found to be safe in approximately 60 percent of the affected area, while problems in the remaining areas have been traced to old and damaged pipelines, which are being repaired.
