Yogi govt’s transparent recruitment process brings joy to thousands of job seekers
Lucknow : The Lok Bhavan auditorium was filled with smiles on Tuesday as candidates eagerly accepted their appointment letters, marking the culmination of a fair and transparent recruitment process conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission. Many of the newly appointed candidates expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for the integrity and efficiency of the process, which has become a hallmark of the Yogi government since 2017.
Among the recipients was a candidate who shared how receiving the appointment letter fulfilled a lifelong dream of his father, while others recounted their arduous journeys of hard work and perseverance. Most notably, candidates highlighted their appreciation for the transparency that has been maintained in government job recruitments over the past seven and a half years.
The Yogi government is working in mission mode to connect the youth of the state with jobs and employment. CM Yogi personally oversees the filling of vacant posts across various departments, regularly seeking updates from officials and issuing directives to expedite the process. This proactive approach has resulted in over six and a half lakh youth securing government jobs since 2017.
In addition to government employment, the Yogi government has successfully linked over 3.75 lakh youth with jobs through contractual positions. Furthermore, an impressive two crore individuals have found employment in the private sector and through Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). These efforts have significantly impacted the state’s unemployment rate, which has dropped from 16 percent in 2016 to just 2.4 percent today.
Candidates celebrate their gift ahead of Independence Day
Deepti Rai from Varanasi, who secured the position of State Mandi Inspector, expressed her heartfelt thanks to CM Yogi, calling the appointment a “big gift before August 15.” She also highlighted the fairness of the entire recruitment process.
Rohit Srivastava from Pratapgarh, another candidate selected for the post of Mandi Inspector, noted the stark difference between the current and previous governments. “Under previous governments, recruitment exams often faced delays, and results were uncertain. But under CM Yogi’s leadership, exams and results are timely,” he remarked.
Ankit Gupta, newly appointed as Mandi Supervisor, emphasized the integrity of the recruitment process, stating that it was conducted without any form of corruption. “The examination was conducted with complete purity and fairness,” he said, expressing his gratitude to CM Yogi for maintaining such standards.
