Youths should take inspiration from Martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the Country – Seema Trikha
Chandigarh – Haryana Minister of State for Education, Smt. Seema Trikha said the younger generation should take inspiration from the martyrs who have sacrificed their lives for the country.
The Minister said this while participating as the chief guest in the Tiranga Yatra organised in SGM Nagar, Faridabad. The Yatra began at Patel Chowk and concluded at Badkhal Lake. The Minister also paid floral tributes to the statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. She acknowledged Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s significant role in uniting the princely states and in shaping India. She said that Patel’s statue is often referred to as the Statue of Unity due to his immense contribution.
Smt. Seema Trikha emphasised that martyrs are a source of inspiration for the youth. She said that the Tiranga Yatra strengthens the sense of patriotism among the youth. She urged people to hoist the National Flag at their homes, offices, shops, and factories by August 15 to honour the known and unknown martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country’s freedom and security.
