Pre-Budget Dialogue in Rajsamand: Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Premchand Bairwa Seeks Suggestions from All Sections
Jaipur, January 2026 :Deputy Chief Minister and District In-charge Minister Dr. Premchand Bairwa on Tuesday held a pre-budget dialogue at the Rajsamand Zila Parishad auditorium, interacting with people from all walks of life and seeking their suggestions for the upcoming state budget.
The dialogue was attended by MP Mahima Kumari Mewar, Kumbhalgarh MLA Surendra Singh Rathore, Bhim MLA Harisingh Rawat, Rajsamand MLA Dipti Maheshwari, Nathdwara MLA Vishwaraj Singh Mewar, District Collector Arun Kumar Hasija, SP Mamta Gupta, social workers, senior administrative officers, and representatives from various sections of society.
During the programme, farmers, youth, women, traders, senior citizens, persons with disabilities, ration dealers, sportspersons, industrialists, and other stakeholders presented their expectations, demands, and suggestions for the 2026–27 state budget.
Key Suggestions Presented:
- Women SHGs: Establishment of separate Rajeevika offices in every district, rural marts at all sub-divisional headquarters, and priority to SHG women in Annapurna Rasoi schemes.
- Health Sector: Construction of multi-storey parking at R.K. District Hospital, filling vacant doctor posts, enhancement of medical services, increase in MA Yojana package amounts, and early commencement of medical college construction.
- Skill Development: Opening of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Skill Training Centres in every district and increased loan amounts under PMS-CBC schemes for SC/ST communities.
- Divyangjan Welfare: Establishment of dedicated colleges for persons with disabilities in every district with specially trained teaching staff.
- Senior Citizens: Priority to elderly residents of old-age homes under pilgrimage schemes and increase in per-capita allowance.
- Farmers: Annual subsidies on agricultural machinery, pipeline facilities for multiple fields per farmer, reduction in seed MRP, and sheds in mandis to protect produce during rains.
- Ration Dealers: Provision of a fixed monthly honorarium.
- Youth: Setting up district-level incubation centres with training in AI, finance, communication, and marketing.
- Sports: Expansion of facilities at the hockey astro-turf in Bhana village and construction of a district-level swimming pool.
- Industry & Tourism: Infrastructure development in RIICO areas, solar parks, marble slurry utilisation, skill training, and amendments under Tourism Policy 2024.
Views from Elected Representatives:
MP Mahima Kumari Mewar emphasized policy formulation for marble waste utilisation. MLAs raised demands related to hospitals, education, agriculture research centres, canals, sports infrastructure, GST reduction, and branding of local agricultural products.
Deputy CM’s Assurance:
After hearing all suggestions, Dr. Premchand Bairwa stated that Rajasthan is playing a leading role in realizing the Prime Minister’s vision of a “Developed India” and Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma’s resolve for a “Developed Rajasthan.” He assured that all suggestions would be seriously considered for inclusion in the upcoming budget.
He further emphasized that no effort would be spared to ensure the holistic development of Rajsamand district and to make it one of the leading districts in the state.
