Set Goals and Strive for Success in Life – Governor

Pune : To achieve success in life, set clear goals and work diligently towards them. Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan emphasized that success is inevitable if you persist without getting discouraged by failures.

The Governor was speaking at the closing ceremony of the Social Leadership Development Workshop organized at Maharashtra Institute of Technology World Peace University, Pune. The event was also graced by Ironman Major General Vikram Dev Dogra, Founder and President of the University Dr. Vishwanath Karad, Executive President Rahul Karad, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Ravi Chitnis, and other dignitaries.

Highlighting the importance of social leadership development workshops in fostering positive change among students, the Governor urged the youth to set life goals and pursue them at a steady pace. He noted that those who give up can never succeed, and encouraged students to model their lives after successful personalities to achieve their own success.

He also advised students to take full advantage of the educational opportunities provided by the university. Upon leaving the university, they should carry the mindset of helping others. The Governor stressed that corruption is like cancer, hindering the country’s development, and encouraged students to work towards eradicating it. He further advised them to be adaptable, curious, and patient listeners.

Dr. Vishwanath Karad reminded students that they are the future leaders of the country. He encouraged them to learn not only from their university courses but also from the positive influences around them. He cited Swami Vivekananda as an exemplary figure whose teachings could guide them towards success.

Major General Vikram Dev Dogra shared that every successful person has experienced failure at some point in their life. He urged students not to fear failure, but to keep their goals in sight, as success will follow.

Rahul Karad provided details about the social leadership development program and highlighted various activities and initiatives at the university. Vice-Chancellor Dr. Chitnis delivered the introduction. During the event, newly admitted students took an oath.
