President Droupadi Murmu Attends Hanuman Mahayagya in Jaipur

Jaipur, January 2026: President Smt. Droupadi Murmu arrived in Jaipur on Friday on a one-day visit. During her visit, she participated in the 1008 Kundiya Hanuman Mahayagya and Shri Ram Katha at Neendar on Sikar Road. In the presence of Jagadguru Swami Rambhadracharya Ji Maharaj, the President offered the final oblation (Purnahuti) in the sacred fire amid Vedic chants, praying for the welfare of the world.

On this occasion, Governor Shri Haribhau Bagde and Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma were also present. The President performed special prayers during the Mahayagya and wished for the peace, prosperity, and well-being of the nation and the state, along with global welfare. After the ritual, the President, Governor, and Chief Minister circumambulated the yajna site. The President also met Jagadguru Swami Rambhadracharya Ji and extended her greetings and respects.

Earlier, upon her arrival at Jaipur Airport, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma welcomed the President by presenting a bouquet. Deputy Chief Ministers Diya Kumari and Dr. Premchand Bairwa, MP Shri Madan Rathore, Chief Secretary Shri V. Srinivas, Director General of Police Shri Rajeev Kumar Sharma, along with other senior officials, were present to receive her.
